This year has been one of huge transformation for K, mostly in the height and hair category. He is now the tallest in the family, much to his delight. Hair is a big thing for K and his friends, pun intended! They tease each other merciless with every haircut so for most of the year we have barely seen his eyes. Hopefully this puffy, long style won't last for much longer.
K spent his birthday on the slopes in Lake Tahoe, his happy place. He remains obsessed with skiing, however we wish it wasn't the the jump of cliffs and scare your parents type of skiing. But it is. 
For the past three to four years, K has asked for a PC for Christmas. He loves playing video games, as does his friends, but without a PC (we are a pro-Apple family) he was unable to participate with the group. By agreeing to a joint xmas and bday present plus chipping in some of his own money, K finally got the PC of his dreams. Have to say, we are impressed - PC's have come a looooong way. And its been a fun way for K to connect with his friends after school
