We knew that it was only a matter of time before we paid a visit to A&E (Accident and Emergency), the U.K. version of the Emergency Room. Last week K wriggled himself out of the Phil & Ted's stroller and tried to escape over the top. The stroller toppled and he went with it. He landed on the sidewalk - all scraped up and with a gash on his forehead.
J called a cab to take himself and the kids to A&E. That was when I received the call at work asking me to meet them there to take C home while they waited. J just assumed socialized medicine meant waiting hours to be seen. Luckily that wasn't the case and K was seen right away. The doctors decided that rather than put stitches in, they could use skin glue since the cut was in a relatively easy place to keep dry.
K took it all in stride. He spent the evening pointing to his forehead and saying "boo boo".

After a couple of days we had to change the dressing as I sort of lost track of where K's face was during bath time. Now he's now sporting a pink "hello kitty" bandaid.

Very stylish!
