A few more posts from our trip to Espana...After lounging around the pool all day on Sunday, we decided to explore a bit on Monday. There is an old Castle in downtown Malaga that I wanted to check out. It is basically a big fortress and you are able to walk around the walls. Even though there were lots of stairs, the kids did great and we were treated to beautiful vistas of the city.

After the castle we drove down to the beach for lunch. El Tintero restaurant was recommended to us by the owners of Padres Aviles.
It’s a beachfront restaurant specializing in all types of fish. But rather than order off a menu, waiters just walk around with dishes, screaming out what their carrying and you just pick what you like. A Spanish version of dim sum except much, much livelier. Here’s a little video to give you a feel for our not-so-quiet, but delicious lunch.
We walked along the beach after lunch and stopped for some artisan helado before heading back. Click Here to see more pictures of our visit to Castillo de Gibralfaro.
