I didn't bring my halloween decorations out of storage this year but I did add a new one to my collection. I was so excited to find a store with a decent selection.
Sadly, work duties conspired against me this year and I was unable to make it home for halloween festivities. When I mentioned this to C on halloween morning after she asked me "what the trick or treating plan was", she paused for half a second and then announced, "Well, we'll just have to go without you then." Halloweeen is one of the kids favorite holidays and they are at great ages for it.

C decided to wear her elephant costume from last year's school play and K was a super cute fireman. J took them around the neighborhood and below is the loot they came back with. I was pretty impressed given that Halloween isn't really a big thing in the UK.
One of the doors they knocked on was a friend of C's from preschool. They were having a Halloween party at their house and invited J, K & C to join them. The kids had fun, ate too many sweets and stayed up to late. But I guess that's what Halloween is all about.
