Wicked

For a week in August C was enrolled in Summer Theater camp.  The focus was on the Broadway show "Wicked."  The kids learned a few songs from the show and C diligently practice each night.  Grandpa and Marylin were in town so she had quite the audience to perform in front of.

On Friday the kids put on a performance for the parents.  Pretty impressive that all this came together in just one week.

As a special surprise I bought tickets for us to see the London performance of "Wicked" on Saturday night.  Grandpa and Marylin came with us.

C loved it and even though it was late (7:30 performance), she stayed awake for the entire show.

It was fun for me to see the show again too since I hadn't realized how much about it I had forgotten (there was a sister in a wheelchair?  she needed to save the animals?).
