J attended the recital and while the girls did well they unfortunately did not win. C was still happy to have made it to the finals though - as she should be! Great job C!

C Poetry
A few weeks after K's poetry contest, the girl's school held their own contest as well. C had been practicing the Shel Silverstein poem, "Hug O'War":
But in the end she decided to also recite "Snowball" for the competition because she believed she could pronounce the words clearer. C and her friend Mia both selected the same poem and both did well with so the teacher sent both girls to the finals where they recited the poem together.
