Each Friday at C's school the parent's association hosts a bake sale to raise money for the school. The Friday before Halloween was C's class' turn to host which made for a festive sale. I had some day of the dead cookie cutters which we finally put to use. J baked most of the cookies during the day and C and I decorated them when I got home from work. Luckily I've brought back a variety of decorating sprinkles and gels from the US throughout the year so we had a variety of decorating options to choose from. J also found some sugar flowers at our local grocery store which were perfect for the theme. We had a blast decorating the cookies, each one receiving a different design. Our creative juices were definitely flowing.
Apparently the cookies were a big hit at the bake sale and fetched an impressive £1 each.
