Apple Picking

This past weekend we visited Live Earth Farm in Watsonville to pick apples. Even outdoor activities like Apple Picking has changed with Covid. This year, the farm is only open 2 weekends for U-Pick and you have to reserve a spot in advance so that the farm was able to limit capacity.

We were hoping to pick some Pippins, our favorite for pie-making apples, but the only trees that were open for picking were Fuji's.

My pickers have grown quite a lot since our Apple picking days at Garsons in England.
Since we were down in Watsonville, we spent the rest of the day with your cousins in Aptos.  They live next to a beautiful state park perched on cliffs above the Pacific Ocean.

K brought his suit to go for a swim but the first mention of Great White sharks scared him off.  Can't blame him really.
