Halloween looked very different this year. The school halloween festivities consisted of a car-line drive-thru which both kids decided to opt-out of. And as for trick-or-treating, kids in our neighborhood were encouraged not to go out. Our block is a bit sleepy when it comes to Halloween so I don't know if everyone stuck to the guidance or not....but we did.
In exchange for a night at home, we bought a large bag of candy for each kid (their choice - K chose Nerds, C Reese's cups) and watch the original Halloween movie.
We did however raid our costume pile and had some fun being Weasley's.
