9 Months

K is 9 mos. old. And he's still chunk-a-licious (a perfect description as coined by our friend J).

This month he made huge strides standing up, sitting down and cruising around the place. He's up to two meals a day and loves his morning cereal. While C prefers meat (like dad), K seems to have a preference for carbs (like mom). He sprouted two teeth this month and has some cute little curls which I just adore.

Weight: 22lbs 10 oz (I swear it feels like more!)
Height: 28 in. (close to outgrowing his infant car seat)

His stats are in the 75-80% range which is down a bit from previous appointments. Like C, he seems to be a little slow on the verbal side but more advanced on the physical front. The doctor suggested reading more to him to get his language going. We read to C a ton but I guess we need to make a concerted effort to give K his own dedicated reading time too. She also suggested giving him more finger foods (we've yet to give him any-oops!) so that he can work on his pincer grasp.
