How 'Bout

My new favorite phrase of C's is "how 'bout". She uses it when she's choosing her clothes in the morning or picking out a book to read. She leans over and says "how 'bout", thinks for a few seconds, then picks up the one she wants.

Our clever girl also uses it as a negotiation tactic. When I say "no" to something, she tries another route. For instance:
Me: "Do you want green beans?"
C: "No."
C: "How bout...(thinks a few seconds)....strah-bewies?"
