K has been climbing out of his crib - oh for years now - so moving him into a real bed was long overdue. With his 3rd birthday coming up we figured now was the time. The pieces arrived on Friday and J built the bed yesterday. K has a small room, so we opted for a mini-captain bed to give us a little storage space. There are two big cabinets, a shelf and a drawer which currently holds puzzles and cars. And behind the cabinets under the mattress...my golf clubs!
K was super excited and kept talking about his "big boy bed". Unfortunately he had a hard time falling asleep in the bed and after about an hour ventured into our bed. Sadly, the only big boy who slept in the bed last night was J. Hoping for better luck tonight.
