Japan

At school, C is learning about Japan in her world geography studies. Earlier this week she came home and announced that her room was a Japanese tea house and proceeded to lay out a row of slippers just inside the door.  No one is allowed to enter unless they put on a pair of slippers (although she did make an exception for J & I to wear socks since we didn't fit in any of the slippers).


We'll see how long she keeps this up.  One side benefit...in Japanese teahouse tradition, her room has remained much tidier than it usually is.
