K joined the Chess club at school this year. Apparently he's a quick study because he came home with the champion plaque for Yr. 1 Monday club.
Needless to say, he was very excited. Next month K will participate in the final tournament to crown the School chess champ.
He was also invited to participate in the MegaFinal tournament which brought students from areas schools together. The tournament was held on a Sunday and the kids played 6 games each. I was traveling so J had to bring both kids to the tournament. Since C plays chess at school he signed her up as well.
