Chepstow House Fixture

A game is a "fixture" in the UK and football (soccer) is played on a pitch (field).  On Friday, K had his second school football fixture against another local boys school, Chepstow House.  All the boys in Yr 2 played in the match, but the kids were split into teams based on their ability.  K was on the A team with many of the boys from his "friday night fives" league team.  The game was played on grass and size of the pitch was much bigger than what they usually play on.

K's team played well and won the fixture 3-0. K played center midfield for most of the game, a fun spot where he got to throw most of the balls in from the sideline and take the corner kicks.  And even more exciting, he scored 2 out of the 3 goals.

The boys were happy to celebrate!
