Flips

C asked if we could get a swingset at our lake house which seemed like a great idea.  We had the space and it would give the kids something else to do outside by themselves.  We found a decent set at Costco and J spent an afternoon putting it together.  The instructions were somewhat lacking e.g. "bang with a piece of wood as far as you can" and there was almost a moment of defeat but in the end he managed to finish it.  The kids were thrilled!

In the morning, C wakes up and immediately goes outside to play on the swingset. It's also become her thinking space, particularly when she needs a reset.

She's been getting braver and braver and working on her swings and flips.
