I asked the kids to write in my journal about their favorite trip from 2017. From all the options, C chose the the Lake House as her favorite. While I never questioned our decision to buy, I'm so happy that C thinks the place is as special as I do. I also love that she considers our friends and their kids part of her family. As my friend J noted, it's so nice that she gets to spend her summers in a place and with people who make her feel so good.
