This weekend K had soccer games on Saturday and Sunday and both were in San Francisco. Not ideal since the city is about 45min-1 hr away but we made it work. On Saturday we were coming from the east bay so we were treated to a drive over the Bay Bridge with beautiful views of the Bay. This weekend was Fleet Week so while we missed the blue angel demonstration, we did see a TON of sailboats on the water, cleverly securing the best viewing spot. The boys played on a miniature-field which was hard for them to adjust to and they ended up losing 7-0. Tough loss. After the game we drove through Golden Gate Park to get home which was another side-benefit of playing in the city.
On Sunday, the field was a bit further south in Outer Mission. It was a beautiful turf field. The boys played better than the day before and the game ended in a 3-3 tie. K scored 2 of the 3 goals so he was pretty happy.

While C wasn't thrilled to come along, J was traveling so there really wasn't any other option. Luckily there were playgrounds at both fields to keep her entertained and of course, Roxie.
