Yesterday morning Caroline and I were in our backyard and found some lemons on our meyer lemon bush. Citrus in February - one of the many perks of living in CA! Oddly enough, our meyer lemon bush was now sporting some regular lemons. We picked two - one meyer & one regular. When we brought them in the house, C would not let go of them although she didn't know what to do with them either. The meyer lemon has thin skin and is particularly fragrant so I tried teaching her to smell it although she seemed less than satisfied - "That's it?!?! I just get to smell it?!?!"
Fast forward to the evening. Caroline is still carrying the lemons around however I notice a big ol' bite mark in one of them (I shouldn't be surprised, right). She followed that up with poking a hole into the meyer lemon, putting her finger in it, taking her finger out then licking it. Repeat.
Well, since she liked it that much, we figured why not cut it up and see if she would actually eat it. She did.
Nice video -- titles, music. you are raising the bar. G likes lemons too -- but makes awful faces when he bites into the peel. We just watch and laugh.

ReplyDeletedon't be too impressed by the editing. Flipshare has a 'magic movie' button that automatically cuts down your video and adds transition. You also have the option to 'try again' so that you can find an edited version that you like. Then you also have the option to add titles and music. I'm a huge Flip fan - so user friendly.
