Egg Painting & Hunting

KK, MM and C came over for a day of easter festivities. First up was egg decorating. KK brought a bag-full of goodies (from the states) to help the process. Good thing to, because it was nearly impossible to find plastic eggs or egg decorating supplies in London. In fact, I went to 4 stores before finding one that actually carried jelly beans.

KK was a master decorator and the kids listened intently to her instructions. The kids colored first and then when the eggs were dry, decorated with paint, stickers, sparkles and sequins.
The finished collection.
The adults decorated cupcakes with 'grass' and eggs.
Next up was an egg hunt around the block. KK and I hid the eggs and the guys followed with the kids. KK was very creative finding hiding spots.
The kids had a blast running around the lawn looking for eggs.
A thoroughly enjoyable way to spend the day and the perfect precursor to the Easter bunny's arrival! Click Here to see more photos of egg festivities.
