Springtime at Kew

Unfortunately the winter chill has rolled back into London but all last week we were treated to beautiful Spring weather so we took a trip out to Kew Gardens. The last time we were there it was New Year's Eve; the place was empty and the bushes and trees were all bare. It was such a treat seeing the gardens come alive with Dogwoods, Daffodils, Blue 'glory of the snow', Tulips and Cherry Blossoms. The Magnolia trees were just starting to perk up and you could smell the Lilac bushes before you saw them.

The ducks were happy to be fed.And we stumbled across a farmer's market where we were happy to be fed. Note the food choice - Sausage or Bacon Bap.
