Making sure I used up each and every one of my 29 vacation days traveling was also on my 2012 list. I think we did pretty good on that front.

So on to Resolutions for 2013:
1. Keep traveling europe 1a. get a license, buy a car, explore great britain
2. Improve my health - better eating habits and regular exercise. Not sure exactly what this will end up looking like but if those 40 lbs. happen to be shed in the process, yippee!
3. More date nights - 2 per month minimum. J & I are doing well so far...first one up is Friday and another planned 2 weeks after that.
4. Make my bed every morning. It really does make a difference.
Plus a couple of others that are on the 'b' list:
5. listen to more music. every time I do I realize how much I enjoy it. It's one of the reasons I love driving a car around when I'm back in the states. And if I turn music on in the house, a dance party with the kids usually breaks out.
6. commit to something crafty - start quilting again or learn to knit. I miss having an outlet to channel some creative juices (outside of bday party planning each June) and that requires such focus that the rest of the world can easily be tuned out.
7. get to know my camera better - try some different lenses and push myself for some better photos
8. define family media rules (j and I included) and stick to it.
Wow, the DC thing is something that I have to do.....
