Butterflies at Wisley Gardens

We took our annual trip to Wisley Gardens to check out the Butterflies in the Glasshouse.

C lasted about five minutes in the butterfly room before begging J to take her out.  She is very skittish around animals and didn't like the butterflies flying anywhere near her.
K on the other hand loved it.  He and I went on a scavenger hunt to try to find all the butterflies featured in the brochure.

We did a good job but unfortunately the one that K really wanted to see, the orange one, was successfully evaded us.

One of my favorites was the leaf butterfly.  Talk about great camouflage.

The highlight of the trip was when a butterfly landed on my scarf and stayed for a few minutes.  He must have thought I was a flower.
