After work today, C and I went outside to create our Easter Tree, inspired by
Chinese Grandma. We had lots of fun decorating the tree and it brings a smile to my face when I see it from the window. C insisted on seeing the tree before going to bed and when she got up Saturday morning, she decided to go out and rearrange some of the eggs. An artists work is never done.
While we don't necessarily celebrate Easter in the Christian sense, we do celebrate the arrival of Spring! The green grass, the blue skies and the flowers starting to peak up from the ground. Not to mention the warmer and longer days.
It's easy to create your own Easter tree - some green floss (or in our case white) and plastic eggs snapped together is all it takes.
