Easter

Holidays come with so much expectation, don't they? We envision a day full of joyous laughter and endless smiles. But the truth of it is that our Easter started out a little rough this year. C's face pretty much sums up our morning.
Regardless of the bad moods we were all in (lack of sleep was definitely the culprit!), the easter bunny left baskets (well pails really) and cute bunnies in eggs.

Our two little bunnies
C & K went on a house hunt to find eggs and the jelly bean treasures inside. I wonder how many years we have before the kids stop handing over the jelly beans when we ask for them?

The day got MUCH better when we headed over to the GVZs for lunch. I made a 'bunny' salad and some rice krispy pops to take with us.
The kids had fun playing throughout the house and in the backyard. K especially loved doing loops around the house with the baby stroller.
Baby Louis spent a good bit of the day asleep in Dad's arms but he played a bit too. He's currently quite fascinated by his hands.
When we got home, we all crashed. And I'm happy to report that a little sleep did us all a world of good. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!
