This weekend's baking project was
Meyer Lemon and Cherry Scones. The
Weekly Greens blog posted a week's worth of recipes for using Meyer Lemons. I couldn't contain my excitement and was thrilled to have found a recipe that utilized some of our
Meyer Lemons.

And I just happened to have a bag of dried Cherries that Jan had brought us from Wisconsin. Once again, C was my sous chef. She actually managed to scramble the eggs all by herself.
And then I brought in the master kneader to finish the job.

They were good, and actually got better after they sat a bit. We really liked the base and agree that cranberry orange would also be a good combination for us to try next.
