Addt'l Postage Required

Spending your day with an almost 3 yr. old is no easy task. Besides having to always be on the go, they ask questions non-stop (and are never satisfied with the answer), can be quite fickle in their food requests (deciding not to eat what's put in front of them after requesting it a minute prior) and can be stubborn, stubborn, stubborn. It can be exhausting both physically and mentally.
There usually comes a point during the day where J has reached his limit and his patience has worn so thin that it is non-existent. Yesterday when J reached that point he told C that if she didn't cooperate he was going to "box her up and mail her to Grandpa Corky in Florida". The threat had the intended effect and she fell in line.

However, upon sleeping on it, she woke up and announced that she was ready to be "mailed to Grandpa Corky in Florida." Hmmm, do we have enough postage?

  1. I so feel your pain. The other day I told N to knock it off or I was going to brain her (okay, not my best parenting move, but whatever). Of course she demanded to know what braining meant so I told her it was pulling her brain out by her nose. (again, questionable parenting) For at least a week she begged me to brain her so she could see it. Not the reaction I was hoping for!
