Our favorite place to watch a live music performance is at Mountain Winery. The winery is situated on top of the hills in Saratoga, with a great view of the bay area. The setting is very intimate and they have recently remodeled making it even nicer.
Over the years we've seen shows from the Indigo Girls, Bruce Hornsby, Joan Baez and one of our favorites, Lyle Lovett. Pam watched the kids for us last night so we were able to scoot out for a live acoustic performance from Jon Hiatt and Lyle Lovett.
It was a fantastic show. The two of them are old pals, and they just came out and talked and sang and strummed.
Lyle Lovett, mr. "sexy ugly" himself (as coined by Janet) is so funny he could have his own talk show.
It was a wonderful night being serenaded outside under the stars.
