A HMB Father's Day

For Father's Day, we took the kids for an overnight trip to Half Moon Bay.
J and I had been there a month ago and thought it would be fun to bring the kids back. Let's just say it all did not go exactly as planned...

Given the impending move, being away from our house on a precious weekend day was a bit stressful. Then the weather was on the chilly side, so C & K didn't appreciate the fact that we did not want to take them swimming and tried to stop them from running into the ocean. We did end up going for a swim after dinner which the kids loved but everyone was shivering within minutes. K ended up sleeping in our bed for maybe the 2nd time ever in his life, and he picked up a little cold which made sleeping that much harder.

On the bright side, it's always a treat to explore new places and we did manage to enjoy ourselves a bit.
