Two Years in London

Hard to believe it but we passed our second year mark in London at the beginning of September. All in all it was a good year here and we definitely felt more settled...we made less trips to Ikea and we finally bought a grill.  C started going to school full-time, K found a playgroup and a first best friend. And J passed both his driving test & his 'Life in the UK' test so he's on his way to becoming a UK citizen (assuming we decide to stay a few more years).

Like last year, the highlights were definitely our trips. The kids put a few more stamps in their passports with trips to Germany, Austria, Amsterdam & Italy.  Plus we finally started exploring the areas surrounding London a bit more.  While we still don't have a car we're thinking it might just be time.

The major lowlight from the past year in London is that we unsuccessfully tried to buy a house although we're still holding out hope that it may happen.  The house buying process...ridiculous (in a bad, frustrating way).   The bacon...still crazy good.
