WOW

At K's school parents are invited to send in a little note about what the kids are accomplishing outside of school.  The notes are then read out loud by the teachers to the entire class.  They call it a WOW and send home blank WOW papers every week.  Our blank ones were piling up as was the parental guilt.  I guess K was feeling a little left out too because last week he asked us to write him a WOW.  And what a WOW it was.

K started swim class about two months ago.   The policy at the swim school is that parents are not allowed in the pool area to watch.  However, once a month the school lets the parents observe.  K has always loved the water but he's never done much more than jump off the side and dive for rings.  So J was super impressed last week as he watch K swim across the entire length of the pool on his own.

Yay for K!
