Football

For a couple of months now the kids have been playing football (soccer) on Sunday mornings at a local park.  They both really enjoy it and will even brave the rain to go.

K has a super hard kick and seems to have some natural ability.  I'll venture to guess that being ambidextrous helps too as he can use both feet pretty adeptly.


C was a bit timid when she first started playing but over time she has learned to be more aggressive.  This past week she scored a goal during a two-on-two game and received an 'awesome award' (just a sticker) for being the MVP of her team.


When we were back in the states we bought them both their first pair of cleats so they look like real pros now.  Given how muddy the fields tend to be, cleats are a must have.  We have two pairs of mud destroyed sneakers as proof.
