Today we spent a lovely day at Muir Woods, the perfect place to celebrate Earth Day. On our walk, Caroline would alternate between pointing right saying "tree" and pointing left saying "agua" (there is a stream that runs down the middle of the redwood grove) . Luckily half-way through she decided the stroller was a better way to travel or else we may not have made it home before sundown. The pictures are from a new app on my iPhone called hipstamatic which I'm totally digging.
Kevin was there too, eating and playing under the redwoods.
After the hike, we stopped at Dipsea Cafe for lunch and then swung by Emporio Rulli to pick up some more of their famous Panettone. An enjoyable day topped off by a quiet ride home!
P.S. In case you were wondering about the quote...here's the story. I was sitting on a bench with Kevin in Muir Woods and a mom came up and said, "you're not going to believe what my son said". She then proceeded to tell me that as they were passing us she pointed to Kevin and said to her son "look at the baby". He responded,"The beauty of nature and a baby. Both of them unstoppable." She was chuckling as she told me, clearly impressed at how poetic her son was. What mother wouldn't be.
That's my all time favorite picture of Kevin. He could be a Gap model!
