On the Farm

Between bouts of rain this morning, we managed to make it out to Ardenwood, an adorable park/farm in the east bay. Every week they teach the toddlers about a different animal, today it was sheep. After reading a story to the kids, the ranger gave each kid a piece of corn and showed them how to turn the corn into food for the sheep.


Then we went to feed them.


The sheep were sheered this past weekend, so they weren't cooperating much, so we ended up feeding the goats as well. (sorry - no pictures of feeding the goats since C insisted Mommy do the feeding rather than her)



Every child received a souvenir corn cob, which C thought might make for a yummy snack.

Overall a muddy but fun day on the farm!
