For the past few days, Josh and I have been trying out pigtails on Caroline. She rarely lets us even get near her hair, so while the styling could use a lot of work, we're thinking it's a win just to get them in. We do have to bribe her with "we'll go bye-bye if you let mommy/daddy put them in" but luckily she hasn't caught on to the fact that we we're going out either way.
How cute does she look? Her curls make the best tails in the whole world.
On a side note, I now have a whole new appreciation of what my mom went through trying to tame my own hair when I was young. Every time C squeals 'owwww' at the slightest touch on her hair, there is Eileen in my head saying, "it doesn't hurt, now SIT STILL!"
I had really long curly hair as a kid. My mom put my hair in a pony tail every single day until I was in...7th grade. Then I got to wear a head band. I go the non-rubber band type holders at Target. Emma now asks me to do her hair! Love the pony tails! Caroline is so cute!
