Kate & Jan came out from Wisconsin to visit for a couple of days. It was great having them and Caroline was quite enamored with Kate. You can definitely see why kids with older siblings develop quicker. C followed Kate around like a little puppy dog - it was adorable to watch and Kate to her credit was very patient.
Unfortunately the trip was too short to do much touristy stuff but we did get to the CA Academy of Science which definitely got two thumbs up from Kate.
The other favorite activity was going to our local park. In fact, Kate chose it over a trip to the ocean or to see the Redwoods.
