Saturday morning was K's first swimming lesson. C has been going to water babies since she was around the same age and now she and K are in the same class. As you've seen from previous posts, she absolutely loves the water so we were excited to get K started. Here he is with Dad ready to take the plunge:
K started off a bit quiet, but he seemed to warm up to the water and was slapping and giggling by the end. He also excelled at the back float. These days C is not only jumping off the side unassisted but she's diving for rings too. We think it's time to move her to a more advanced class, but for the summer we'll enjoy the Saturday morning family swim outings.
