Trains and Carousels

Today we spent a really fun morning at Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos. Not only does the park have your standard playstructures but there is also a steam train and carousel in operation.

Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad
- the steam train takes you through Vasona park. The ride was about 10 min and the four of us were able to sit together and enjoy the scenery.

The train station (waiting was the hardest part!):
The "2 spot" steam train originally from Venice Beach in SoCal:
All aboard (even though he doesn't look it, J was just as excited as C):

W.E. Bill Mason Carousel - After the train, C & Daddy went for a ride on the carousel which was absolutely beautiful. It is one of the few historical carousels in CA, originally built in 1915 for the Panama-Pacific Exposition in SF.

There were lots of smiles from C and her favorite part was seeing Mommy & K after each turn.

This is definitely a park we'll be going back to.
