Got Smile?

Today was C's first trip to the dentist. J went with her and was given explicit instructions to take pictures when he was there. Unfortunately there are none. C insisted on being held for the entire visit which meant that daddy was in the dentist chair and C was on top of him. Must have been quite the sight, although according to the hygienist, this is not uncommon.

Overall C did really well. She opened her mouth on command which she and daddy practiced yesterday. And the staff was able to clean and count her teeth. C told me the dentist counted 2 teeth but J reports that she has 20. C thought the water "mr. fountain" was cool, but that the suction "mr. straw" was even better! She also got to pick which flavor of flouride she wanted. My guess was strawberry but she picked banana. Her favorite part was the take-home goodie bag which included a ball, a sticker, a bracelet and of course, a toothbrush!
