Monarchs

On Sunday we had a last minute outing with the GVZ's and Stone's. We took a half-mile walking tour at Ardenwood Farm to see the Monarch Butterflies. Ardenwood is one of the over-wintering sites for the butterflies and we found clusters of them hanging from the branches of eucalyptus trees.
The kids had fun running around the farm and playing on the train tracks (the tracks were not in use, I promise!). Here are a few pics from our morning:C finds a crab apple on our walk
