Oakland Zoo

This morning the rained cleared out enough that we were able to go to the Zoo. And lucky us, the rain kept most people away so we had almost the whole place to ourselves. From the moment we arrived, C was intent on seeing the elephants.

But she enjoyed checking out the giraffes, lion, tiger and monkeys too.

On the way out, we stopped at the little playland next door where C rode in the car (she chose a speedy corvette on the left) and on the carousel.

We actually took two rides on the carousel. On the first go-round, C chose to ride on the tiger. And the second time she picked the elephant.
