Happy Halloween

Last year the kids were still too little for trick or treating so we just had a party at our house. But this year, the kids got to experience what Halloween was all about. Our street seems to be anti-halloween and we get no more than a handful of kids at our door each year. But lucky for us, our friends the GVZ's live on "halloween street" and they invited us over. Many of the houses on their street go all out with decorations and it seemed that everyone who answered the door was in full costume-wear.

Speaking of costumes, we were the family farm
K looked absolutely adorable as a chicken and he was such a good sport. I bought his costume at the end of last year and it served as the inspiration for the rest of us.
C loved her piggy outfit and still wants to wear it around the house all the time. Of course, the only time she didn't want to wear her hat was for the family photo (see above).

Here are the kids at the first door. They weren't exactly sure what to do but they quickly got the hang of it when candy started being passed out.

It was adorable watching the kids get all excited going from one house to another. And I loved seeing the reaction of the people opening the doors when four cute as can be 2 yr. olds were standing on their doorstep. Great fun was had by all. And while I've yet to hear C actually say "trick or treat", she can't stop screaming "Happy Halloween"! Happy indeed.
