We decided to put aside our heaping pile of to-do's to enjoy the 4th of July with family & friends.
After a not-so successful flag-waving photo session with the kids, we ventured off to the B's house for a swim pooldate and BBQ. We had a really fun time and wish would could have stayed longer but naps beckoned. While I didn't get any pictures of the kids swimming...because I was wet too...I did manage to capture them enjoying their popsicles. R & C were clinking their pops and saying "cheers".

J & I also had fun baking for the holiday. In keeping with the red, white & blue theme, I made a yummy Blueberry Sour Cream Pie (as mom would say, "good, easy")
and J whipped up some homemade raspberry sorbet. 
C was definitely a fan!
Popsicles now and in 18 (or less) years it'll be wine glasses :) Thanks for coming... we had a fun time too!
