New 'Do

We all went for haircuts yesterday.

Mommy lightened up a bit on the color front. K lightened up a bit on the volume front.

But C had the biggest transformation of us all. Her long hair was constantly in a tangle and brushing/combing was a battle every night. So it was time for drastic measures. A part of me was really sad to be cutting off her beautiful long locks, but I knew that long-term this was a better option for all of us.

Because C's hair is so thick (just like Mommy's) the stylist had to layer it a bit so that it wouldn't poof out. C had to stay in the chair for quite a while, and it was hard for a 3 yr. old to sit still that long. But overall C did a great job and the result was well worth it. She looks adorable...but so much older...with her new hairstyle.

I think she likes it!
