Strawberry Picking

The title of this post should actually be Strawberry Eating because the only person who did much picking was Grandpa. His two helper bees excelled at the strawberry eating part.
It's hard to blame them though. Fresh off the vine, warm from the sun, sweet and juicy. YUM!
The setting couldn't have been any prettier. Swanton's Berry Farm is located just off Highway 1, perched right above the Pacific Ocean. From the field you could actually hear the waves crashing on to shore. After picking we stayed for a picnic lunch.
