Before saying a final good-bye to Paris we ventured out in the morning for a quick romp at a playground on Parc Royale near the apartment. C even made a few friends.
Around noon we packed up and took the metro to Gare du Nord.
The whole trip took us 6 hrs. door to door. The train ride itself was 2 1/2. Not bad.
I hope we go back sometime soon. It really is a magical and beautiful city.
And even though I don't speak the language, I keep catching myself 'merci'ing back in London.
Au revoir, Paris. Thank you for a lovely respite.
