Soldier Storytime

We met up with our friends in Windsor for a special storytime visited by a couple of soldiers stationed at Windsor Castle.

C mustered the courage to go up and say "hi". She liked that fact that these soldiers spoke to her (unlike the ones at Horseguards Parade).

After the stories, the kids did an arts & craft project, decorating their own soldiers.

After storytime we went out for lunch - Spanish tapas - yum!

And on the way back, stopped to pick up a birthday cake.
