Mangrove Walk with Grandpa

One morning we took a walk with Grandpa and Marylin through the Mangrove Forest at Clam Pass. The boardwalk is about 3/4 mile long, weaving through the Mangrove trees and ends at a beautiful stretch of beach on the Gulf.
Unfortunately K fell en route and cut his knee pretty badly, so he and J turned back. But C, Grandpa, Marylin and I marched on.
At one point we crossed over a river. C asked "Is that the Thames?". When I replied "No", she asked "Is that the Seine?". I guess some of our travels are starting to sink in.
We decided to walk back to the apartment along the beach where C discovered the joys of collecting shells...and rocks, and sand. I somehow couldn't convince her that all we really wanted to keep were the shells.
