Words

While on vacation we received a letter for K's follow-up speech therapy appointment. Unlike the U.S. where you call the doctor to schedule an appointment time that works for you, in the U.K. you are sent a letter that tells you when to come in. Unfortunately we were away so now we're trying to figure out what the process is for rescheduling and not being "discharged from the system", as noted in the letter.

In the meantime though, K is picking up a few more words. His current repertoire discernible by everyone includes:
- Nana (as in Banana)
- Apple
- More
- Pop (as in Lollipop)
- Yea (yes)
- iPad (his favorite word)
- Bub (bubbles)
-Wah Bah (water bottle)

He also says "moo" for cow, "quack" for duck, "growl" for tiger/lion and "hoot" for owl. Here is some video of K explaining the pictures on the milk carton.
The kid definitely has something to say.

  1. It's funny, but I swear his voice sounds like C's did at that age. Same inflection, maybe? Either way, go K!
