Last month our friends MM, KK & CK invited us to a Barnyard Dance (a.k.a. square dance) at CK's school in Windsor. I have extremely fond memories of square dancing as a little girl. I love how upbeat the music is and how easy it is for everyone to join in.
We dressed up in our cowgirl & cowboy gear. I think we were the only ones. I definitely got a few comments along the lines of "Americans are better at this than we are".

First stop - face painting.

K didn't want to dance but C was happy to join in.

A little video from the end of the dance and a spin from K.
Special thanks to KK for inviting us to the dance and for all of the great photos.
Looks awesome. I love square dancing (well, just about any dancing...) and will admit jealousy here. Memories of Sadie Hawkins dances back in New Hampshire—doesn't get better than that!
